Billy Davies to Southampton

Have heard that should Goerge Burley become manager of our Jock neighbours national team Billy Davies is lined up for Southampton managers job.

Has made me LOL a little thinking of all the Southampton fans that came on NEP Forums slagging us of for being a team of HOOFERS (Which at times under Billy we were).

So I think will be quite funny to see them down the same route... being ROUTE 1 FOOTIE

He will probably take them to the Prem next season, but he will struggle again when he gets there!

Also does this mean he will do like he did when with us and try to buy/be linked with or buy some of his old derby aquisitions (As happened with the Preston ones)? If so please let me draw up the short list! Cuz some of his buys didn't quite work out! Think jewel will some be ridding these tho

Haha yh i remember that too Shack! But i bet they will welcome him if he goes their as they know he has the credentials to get them out of that league. Although i dont think he will go there, he is holding out for the Sheff Utd job in my eyes! He has said he wants to stay in this area as his family are very happy along with his kids at their schools! Robson is under immense pressure there and i think it will only be a matter of time before he gets the chop and Billy will take over!
