What a topic that has been in the last few months. Talk of allowing Cardiff back into the Welsh league so giving us a chance of getting to the Champions League through the back door. Bascially we could put our reserve team in the Welsh league, walk it then the following season enter our first team for the Champions.
One slight problem there. The English FA have threatened to kick us out of the English league if that happens. Dont want that whatever you have heard from a Welshman. The only answer is that we leave the Welsh FA (FAW) and join the English FA. Never heard of a Welshman wanting to leave the FAW so we can get into Europe. Perhaps this was because was never in reach. Opinions are changing now.

You'll have to have a bloody good defence to stop WBA from scoring, they score nearly every game.

Yes but they have to score more than us. We have returned to the Valleys with 7 goals against their 5 from our 2 trips to the Hawthorns.

No. I think the Welsh FA cup competition lost its european qualifying spot some years ago. Saying that the winners of the Welsh league qualify for Europe but we cannot play in it. We either play in the English league or Welsh one. No prizes for guessing which one we want.
Besides the plot thickens. Platini has promised to step in if we win the FA Cup. Not too sure what he can do for us but it has made the English FA re-consider the situation. Watch this space as they say. Of course we have to win the thing first.
